Automation

All of our gates are of heavy duty construction so are suitable for automation. We strongly recommend if you are thinking of automating your gates that you fit them onto a 'frog' underground system, this type of automation uses a box set into the ground and then only applies pressure to the bottom rail of the gates. When a 'ram' system is used most installers fit them half way up the gates, they generally rely on a centre stop for the closed position, when using rams they push until the system eventually clicks off, this generally pushes the gates out of shape and twists them, this is why we recommend the underground system.
