Country Style Gates

Our Country gates are a decorative alternative to the 5 bar gates, they have a 70mm thick framework with traditional mortice and tenon joints which are glued and screwed for added strength. On softwood (unsorted redwood) gates all screw holes etc are filled with a good quality wood filler then sanded smooth ready for treatment. Softwood (unsorted redwood) doors will be supplied treated with a base coat of preservative only (further treatment is required) and hardwood doors are supplied untreated
